About Us

Hidden Acres Farm was officially founded in 2020, but our journey began long before then! After marriage, we began to see the importance of quality, grass-fed meat products and their effects on our health and well being.

We began researching the topic and quickly saw major flaws in our industrialized factory farms. We could see the impact they are having on the consumers, farmers, and the land. We knew things could and should be different. The more we learned about the way our food is produced, the more we wanted to become proactive participants in the equation.

In 2016, we decided to purchase our first two steers. These animals were solely to provide better meat for our family and a few friends. We did not realize how much we would enjoy the new adventure we had just begun. We began to spend many hours researching and learning from other grass-based farmers; what we learned only fueled our excitement to continue and build our little "farm" into a truly regenerative operation.
